removing epoxy resin
You did not mention the name of your epoxy resin.
However, we recently stained slides with Carstairs for fibrin on sections that
were Spurr resin. We placed the slides in sodium ethoxide for 1/2 hour,
rinsed the sections well in tap water and then performed the stain.
