RE: Bleeding Eosin

From:"Weems, Joyce"

I’d check for water in your last alcohols and xylenes. If you have a problem with humidity, you might want to put a spoon (very scientific measurement) of molecular sieve in your reagents to absorb extra moisture.

 Good luck! j

Subject: Bleeding Eosin

Hi everyone,

On a batch of slides from a couple of days ago, I noticed that the eosin on the H&E's had bled from the tissue sections well after coverslipping.  I've never seen this before and any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help.
