After seeing a post on the histonet regarding the use of Rapid Fix by BBC
Biochemical to improve fixation of fatty specimens, we got a sample from
BBC, and our pathologist found that it did improve fixation on fatty
breasts.  It was easier for him to gross, and blocks that we might normally
have had to reprocess cut fine.  It is not supposed to have any negative
impact on the tissues.  Troy Rutledge at BBC was very helpful - their
