FYI on using the pressure cooker

From:Steven Slap

Hi HistoNetters

I have often been asked about monitoring temperatures inside pressure
cookers when doing HIER. I believe, from studies published by Shi and
others, that maintaining accurate temperatures, times and pH levels, are
critical to successfully acheiving reproducible results.

In the Milestone/Hacker microwave system, the temperature is measured within
the Glass Pressure Reactor (microwave pressure cooker) at temperatures up to
120 degrees Celsius with an accuracy of plus or minus one degree, by means
of a non-contact infrared sensor.

best regards,
