Eosinophil control slide
How about a small intestine? Usually, there are a lot hanging around the lamina propria. That way, if you are using patient's tissue, then your control will (hopefully) be fixed and processed the same way. Instead of a blood smear from hematology (which may be fixed in methanol but not processed), or a bone marrow biopsy (which has been fixed and processed, but with the additional step of decalcification).

Subject: Eosinophil control slide

Hello,
Does anyone know of a good control slide for eosinophils and where I can get it?  I need it for a positive control for the Verfuerth-Luna Method for Eosinophil Granules.

Thank you,
