It takes us about 7-8 days from the time we conduct stimulation experiments
to activate neuronal FOS in the medullary dorsal horn to the time we are able
to quantify the FOS response.  Is there a way to shorten this time?  Better
still, is there a way to visualize or estimate FOS right away, after the
termination of the expt.  Not having a background in Histology, please
forgive my naivete.
