I was asked to give more information regarding B-Plus Fix.  Disposal of
B-Plus Fix should be in accordance with directions from your local waste
management agency.  In general, disposal is the same as that for
fixatives containing formaldehyde.  We recommend that tissues be fixed
in B-Plus Fix for at least 3-4 hours prior to processing.  Over fixation
is not a problem.  Tissues may remain in B-Plus Fix for up to 2 weeks
without deleterious results.  All special stains, as well as
immunochemical stains, work well with B-Plus Fix.
