John, sorry I forgot to answer about grids. No I donot use formar coated
grids. For TEM 5 copper grids are picked up with ultrathin sections. Case
grids are placed in 40oC oven overnight. In am routine Reynolds TEM stain
is performed. Copper grids are ready for viewing. Teresa
