RE: H&E on tissue culture in wells

From:MontagueDonnaC@uams.edu

1) Remove the media from the wells.
2) Air dry 10-15 minutes
3) Apply 0.5 - 1.0 mL 10 % neutral buffered formalin directly into the
wells. Fix 15 - 30 minutes at room temp.
4) discard fixative
5) rinse gently! in water (we use a shallow tray under running water and
immerse the plates one at a time gently allowing them to fill with water x
3)
6) air dry completely
7) stain as desired. use significantly less time and or less concentrated
solutions. remember your staining one cell layer thick not a 5 um section.
Hope that helps.

Subject: H&E on tissue culture in wells

Has anybody done an H&E stain on cell cultures grown in 24-well plates?
And how do you fix them?
Thank you for any help...
