Hi Dana,
    One of our antigen retrieval pretreatments is formic acid. I think
you'll be fine with that. The decal solution is the part that might
cause the problems depending on what you are using. Hydrochloric acid is
not the best for IHC. I don't know why one acid causes such problems and
the other is sometimes beneficial (like for beta amyloid). If someone
out there has any ideas I'd love to hear them.
