We do our Gordon and Sweet retic on a staining rack over the sink. All the 
reagents are poured or filtered directly onto the slides, then discarded 
immediately. Nothing gets reused.

Hale's Colloidal (dialysed) Iron method is in John Bancroft's "Theory and 
Practice of Histological Techniques" 3rd edition, page 197.
