Freezing microtomes, don't like the term Co2 as they work equally well
with a Peltier stage, are a joy. Whenever I have to use one my wee face
lights up with delight. They sort out the real Histologists form the
cardboard Histologists. They bring out your skills in manual dexterity with
free floating sections and the art of staining is given a new dimension.
Let's hope they never become a museum item as they are still a valuable
tool in the Histologists repertoire.
Ian.
