2 ihc questions

1.  does anybody do pap detection on frozen sections, if you do how do you
block for endogenous peroxidase, in my previous life we always avoided
hydrogen peroxide on frozen sections because it chewed up the tissue so
badly??????  enlighten me.

2.  does anyone have experience with doing ihc on alcohol fixed tissue
samples?  we have tons of archived bone samples fixed in cold 100% methyl
alcohol to preserve the fluorchrome label, that we would like to do some IHC
on.  my past experience with this alcohol fixed tissue has been a dismal
failure.
