New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University, 
Department of Biomedical Sciences

Responsibilities:  Provide routine technical support in veterinary 
histology laboratory including embedding, microtomy, H&E and 
extensive special staining of animal tissue sections and general lab 
duties.  Full-time, 39 hours per week.

Qualifications:  Successful completion of accredited Histotechnology 
program or AAS/BS in in related field.  HT(ASCP) certification or 
eligibility.  Minimum 3 months experience in hospital or research 
histology lab.  Must possess good technical and organizational skills 
and ability to work well in a team environment.
