Could someone from the UK and other European countries please provide some
information.

Another list I am on has a thread about setting pay rates for public sector
workers in British Columbia, Canada.  The question has been asked as to how
this is done in European countries.  Since I left the UK in 1967 my
information is probably out of date, although the name "Whitley Council"
strikes a bell.  Any information about public sector workers, health or
others, would be appreciated.
