The Puerto RicoSociety for Histotechnology also known as La Sociedad
Puertorriqueña de Histotecnología is announcing the Celebration of their
Second Simposium Titled: "Meeting the Challenges of Being a
Histotechnologist:Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow"

The Simposium will be held all day on Saturday, July 8, 2000 from 8:30 AM to
5:00PM at the Casa del Médico in the beautiful city of Ponce, Puerto Rico
the second largest city of the Island. This majestic city, founded in the
16th Century and restored to its former feudal days, is one of the
Caribbean's best examples of neo-classical, rococo, and Creole Spanish
Colonial archtecture.

The simposium will be preceded with a Hospitality reception on Friday, July
7th, 2000 from 7:00PM to10:00PM in the Casa del Médico.

The awards Reception will be a Formal Dinner on Saturday, July 8th, 2000
from 7:00 PM till Midnight at the Señorial Convention Center in Ponce,
Puerto Rico.

We will be offering six workshops including special stains,
immunohistochemistry, grossing and a Discussion of our title.  (The
workshops will be in a bilingual format).
