Many vendors have already sent in applications for exhibit space for our 
Symposium/Convention which will be held June 8-10 in Phoenix, AZ. If you have 
not yet done so and would like to be an important part of our S/C there is 
still time.
Our Planning Committee has been working since last year and we are offering 
one of the best educational programs in ASH history. 
This event will also be a regional meeting. We are expecting a great turnout 
of histotechs from Arizona and several surrounding states and we have invited 
the members from the AZ Society of Pathologists to attend.
This year marks the first time ASH Awards will be presented. Freida Carson 
and Jules Elias will be on hand to present these awards established in their 
names in honor of their contributions to Histotechnology. An award just 
recently established by Leica will also be presented as well as Scholarships 
to two of our deserving histotechs.
This will not be all work though - fun times are planned for those hours 
after the workshops.
